Wendover Pro Solo!

I naturally got my ass handed by the WRX's. However, the bench racer in me rationalizes that were it not for the 1.2 sec drag launch advantage (.6 faster to 60' per side) and dirty runs for stupid cones I would have finished behind Carl Coleman by only .7 sec combined time.

Of course, such was not the case. But I had fun

Oh, it was. Took me a bit to find this one. Her name is Carmen. The drunk drivers insurance paid for the car in full, plus all the aftermarket equipment. Lucky for me I had EVERY reciept, and proof of the car's racing pedegree...and the adjuster came from a family of racers Full story:

Thanks, although I can't take credit - our RE is the photographer in the bunch.

The airport is the Randolph County airport outside of Elkins, WV. No commercial traffic and car guys in the administration means lots of room to play:

This was our first time there, but I'm certain we'll be back next year. (yippy)

From the access road at the end of the runway, IIRC. There's a little hill (with a little cemetery) across the road.

We definitely learned some things with regard to airport course setup for next year.
