Some idiot scratched my car :( *pics*

I ******* hate people. I've had my car for 2 weeks and this s*** happens. TWELVE ******* DAYS.

Is there anything I can do?

Thats rough, something about these cars people must have something against them, I see things like this a lot on here. How deep is the scratch?

not very deep... its hard to feel to the touch

You can see that scratch big time! You can take it to a good detail shop and they can wheel it out for you the best they can. Other than that wet sanding is your best option if you are not going to have it repainted.

If you have a rotary polisher you might be able to pull it out, but be careful if you don't know what you're doing, you can burn the paint. A yellow pad and some Menzerna or other heavy cutting compound followed by a green or orange pad with something a little lighter to finish it out should do the trick.

I don't think that's going to buff out, body/paint shop is best bet for making it look new again.

it is definitely deliberate. i have no enemies tho. ive been here for 6 months after a 5 year college stint (woo hoo van wilder plan!) in texas...

i just drove by the body shop and they said this would cost me $250... i said no thanks and went and got an Injen CAI with the $250.

i just put s*** in perspective... the CAI will make me enjoy my car more and enhance my driving experience... the scratches... well, dont.

sure, its a cosmetic defect now, and i AM pissed about it, but a) im not selling it anytime soon b) its not gonna be in any showrooms anytime soon.
