wheels are lookin pretty sweet.

as for the calipers, i'd say go something neutral, specifically either black or leave them alone. silver would likely look dull compared to the rims. gold would look odd as there is not really any other gold on the car. i think you might be disappointed with red if it doesnt exactly match the color of the car, or if it doesnt look as bright or something like that.

black seems like a good bet to me, as it will break up the monotonous colors of the caliper/rotor combo, maybe make it look slightly more menacing.

Red would be flashy but black would keep the car looking tight. I voted black, you have a real nice looking car there. I love the MS3 in Red. Just didnt want everyone staring at me!

I'd say try gold, or bronze....it'll set off the bling! =)
at least it'll go with your yellow fogs. =p

go with black, and see if you can have the MAZDASPEED logo painted into your calipers.. maybe in red, or gold..? it'll look smokin!

I am also never happy with what I have ;) but on this occasion I would either say leave them, or go black. Dare I say black with chrome/red lip???

Alright, whoever is going to complain about it being played out take your shot! I agree.... but its HOT!!!

I'm gonna have to steal that, but maybe backwards?? Red calipers with black mazdaspeed, or black calipers with red mazdaspeed. hmmmmm

go for it! =)

myself; i'll go with black calipers, and the bronze logo for my Speed. OH YEAH! =)

I painted the calipers on my CWP red (same paint I used on my Ram, since I had a lot left). I voted red for yours as well. Silver may work for you as well. Your calipers show better than mine. Wish I had some RX-8 wheels. (yes)

red will look GOOD it will match the car and since the wheels are chrome they will reflect all red and look pretty cool! Ive seen toher peeps with chrome rims and the rim will mirror the color of the caliper at different angles, so red would look killer!

Thanks everyone for your responses!

They're not chrome. The lip is polished, polished, polished and looks chrome.
The spokes are Mercury Silver, a brighter, more reflective silver than normal.

haha nice! I didnt think volk had chrome, good to see they are extremely polished! Well either way, the mirror-like polished lip will reflect the brake caliper color very nicely! I say RED for sure! Ive seen polished or chrome rims on porsche and the red calipers reflect in the lip/dish and looks SEX! Go for it mang!

how are the wheels fitting for u? i ordered a set of volks, 18x7.5 +43.. do u think it'll be a problem?
