Seeing this thread made me glad that I didn't just trash my MSP exhaust system that has 26K miles on it!

Besides the pre cat and cat, does any of this other stuff have scrap value? What would you pay for the cats?

I made some call the other day, the best price that I was quoted over the phone is $60 per cat, so I'm guessing they are easily worth more than that.

Metal yards will take aluminum rims too.

the muffler is worth more on ebay.

the midpipe is worthless. Metal yards don't want it.

OP offered $110 shipped for the cats. I think I'll hang on to them and wait for the China/India demand to make them even more precious.

I threw mine on craigslist today for $130 (for the 2 of them) and got multiple offers right away. So if you're selling them, I'd price them quite a bit higher.
