So...I've had my Speed3 for a little over a year now....been cruising along happy as a pig in sh!t.....3 weeks ago I buy new rims (Tenzo) and tires 225/40 .....now I'm all over the MazdaSpeed forums drooling at everything I read and see....and just recently purchased the Cobb springs (to lower my car an inch to meet my new rims and tires) and the Injen CAI (to make my right foot happier).....

.....now I want ALL THE MODS........I AM FREAKING ADDICTED.....I find myself checking out others mods....then surfing all the manufactures sites to see where and what I can buy cheaper....I want the Turbosmart BOV, I want the fmic, I want the hks swaybars, I want the Cobb STS, I want the Access Port, I want the cbe, I want, I want , Iwant........AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! (braindead

welcome to the club friend....the only cure I've found is to have your significant other find out where you've been hiding your mod receipts, that'll keep you off of them for a while. At least until you find a new hiding spot.....

It could be worse I've been in the game for about 4 months and I've gone intake, bov, mm insert, tints, nightshades, downpipe/racepipe going in next week, FMIC in the mail by next week..... pricing wheels and tires, and looking at roadmagnet springs reeeeeeally closely.

Officially broke now. Warranty, what's a warranty? Hope I don't get a smoking turbo, drop the engine, or bend a rod!!

I was hit before I even purchased my car. But slowly, I am gathering enough saved funds to just hit it and quit it in 1 stroke (aka buy everything all at once).

But to add, I would go ahead and spend money on little mods like some shifter bushings and maybe a motormount. I was pretty damn pleased with just the upgrade with the shifter bushings for about ... 1 week and then the addiction came back.

Well after paying for college and now realizing that I actually have money to spend I too became addicted to modding, it hasnt gotten too bad yet but then again I've only had my car less than 4 months. I dont see a cure or an end to it. God help us all...

I said that too. Promised myself and my girlfriend. That didn't even last 2 weeks before I got my first package in the mail!!

When I bought my car I said I would not mod until the warranty expired, lasted two months. CS MM inserts were first, damn that was easy and did not cost much. Then I wanted an intake, got Cobb. Needed a Forge BPV to go with intake, right?. Got Forge. Now I'm thinking a test pipe would be cheap and easy, right?. Getting TP SOON, I hope. What I need is a clandestine mail drop so my wife won't find out. The big brown truck dropping off packages on the porch gets me in trouble. I've had the car five months.
