mazdaspeed 3 cosmic boo
Our car is in the August issue called giant killers! I just brought it back from mailbox a minute ago but this is one of my favorite magazines period.now even more so. It's obvious they are wise folks. The title tells how the story will go and the cover shows us, with new vette, gt-r, evo, hard to tell but i think it is pontiac g8. ooh I bet the Mazda is Cosmic Blue! and I hope we all enjoy!

Automobilemag has the most negative reviews of the MS3 from what I've read. They really ripped the motor; they're the ones that did the dyno run that all the Honda and VW fan boy’s use to make their selves feel better about their purchase. You guys don't remember that?

Regardless, they are my favorite auto-mag. I also like EVO (the british mag that did the grand challenge) but automobiles quality is great.

Sure looks like they changed their mind about the MS3; take a look at what they compared it to!

Yea, any links to this? I keep hearing about it and I want to see what all the fuss is about.

The premise of the story is cars that beat a "big gun" in the same category for several thousands (or tens of thousands) less.

MS3 beats the R32 to 60 mph and through the quarter mile for $10,540 less.

Other cars in the feature are Porsche 911 Turbo v. Nissan GT-R, Ferrari F430 v. Corvette Z06, Audi S4 v. Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, and BMW 550i v. Pontiac G8.

Go buy it. It's worth it.

Definitly. While you're at it, subscribe to the mag. I get this and motortrend in the mail. Great bathroom reading :)

Yeah pinching a loaf and reading about cars at the same time rates right up there with the finer things in life - I have a stack of car magazines about 20 inches high right by the john :)

right now i have R&T and C&D two stacks. Thinking about a 3rd subscribe

Anybody else enjoy reading Car magazine? The magazine itself is from England???? i think and very expensive, so I have to go to the bookstore and read it LOL. It's the best car related magazine and I love Car and Liar, Honda-Trend, and Automobile.

I love CAR magazine also. It IS wicked expensive though. So I also read it in the store. CAR & EVO are 2 brit mags that are just quality. Much better than the state-side mags. Out of all of the American mags, Automobile is the closest to their quality and witty writing. Ezra Dyer cracks me up!

I get Car and Liar cuz it's cheap (they print it on what appears to be toilet paper)

I get Honda Trend because they have good comparos and decent writing..

I'm confused now. Was it EVO or car that had the grand challenge where they bought cars for 1000 pounds each and matched them in competition. I belive the cars were:

A pug 306, a Toyota Soarer, a nissan 240SX and a BMW 325i. I can't find it anywhere online but it was like a 5 part story spread over 5 issues and it has to be the BEST most FUN automotive journalism I've ever read. I bought every single issue.

+1 Car is really a nice mag. I've only got 1 or 2 issues because of price, but they really do have great quality, and I also think that Automobile is probably the clostest rival quality-wise in the US.

I used to read C&D a lot, but having to choose, I'll buy Automobile over it.

Though In truth, I usually just wait until the articles show up in their respective websites, unless there's something I HAVE to have in print (like say... a feature on MS3)

Of websites I read Edmunds' Inside Line, and Top Gear's site, though TG is a bit more entertainment in my mind.
