My New 91 Protege (w/ Pics!)

I bought my 1991 Protege LX yesterday.
I love it.
Id like to give the engine a spit shine, maybe get some new wheels, i dont know what else. If you have any ideas of what to do with it....let me know.

and dont pay attention to the date on the pictures, the camera isnt set right.

Either it's mis-badged or someone previously swapped, but it has the DOHC engine that was found in the higher level LX. Bonus.

Does it have disc or drum brakes in the rear?

Ya i talked to someone, its mis-badged. Or its a new front end from a DX, cuz it has the interior of an LX as well.

yep.. its a dx, that i swapped everything lx over, rear disc,motor, etc..
made the head light projectors in side the lights, fogs that fit in the 3-4" space on the outside part of the main refector..lots of sparco stuff/rally stuff.. the idea was that i do some rally cross..it different and its a car that dosnt get the respect it deserves.. i use to beat type Rs at the auto-x, sparco mudflaps and roof rack and all..the car is very easy to drive and has lots of potential to be a great fun driving car.. it will never be BAD ASS, but it will surprise everone

Cool DOHC engine for ur LX. Most LX are SOHC even for B6. (drinks)

I had a 1994 volks golf gti but I total it on the highway last year. It was a super nice ride but now I want to try the protege I guess I always liked the box of the protege so any ideas for the project.. that will be ws^..
