Hyun is one of the 2-4 members I was referring to obviously so this is no surprise (stoned)

Yes, i was waiting for you to mention my name. Thanks i feel better now.

Oh yeah and guess what, Mazdaspeed CAI > Cobb SRI

Doesn't that piss you off too? Because this is a fact.

Sperry, with all due respect bro I wasn't referring to that thread. The "GTFO" I inserted was sort of a joke and I can see how someone might get a little offended by that. Just look at some of the others threads and you might see where I'm coming from.

Talk about kicking a dead horse!

Hyun, Just because a member issues a post offering an opinion, that doesn't mean it's right / wrong or that I have to agree with it.

but you dont need to insult their opinion either. Your pretty good at that on the other threads.

Hyun, I don't believe I've been "insulting" other members opinions. I might respond in disagreement but I wouldn't call it an insult.

The lesson here is to realize that even though you don't believe you're insulting others opinions, people are telling you that they feel insulted.

I see so some might perceive my post in such a way as to feel offended, hence the name calling / insults regardless of my intended purpose. This makes sense! Noneless the flamming needs to stop.

You know, I think it's pretty funny that you want people to tell you why you come across a certain way but when they do precisely that you are completely dismissive of their perspective.

There are a LOT OF PEOPLE HERE saying the same thing about how you come across. Either ALL OF THEM are wrong and you are the only person with any perspective here (unlikely), or they have a point (likely). I suggest you try a little introspection here.

This is a Mazda forum, and we all want or own a Mazda. Many of us own the Mazdaspeed3. We do not need you to defend our car to us, or tell us how awesome it is. We already know, most of us drive it every day. Sometimes we just want to talk about cars, like the GTI or the Cobalt SS or the SRT-4. We're car guys, talking about cars is fun, but it's no fun talking to "that guy." You're "that guy." We slap around GTI/SS/SRT-4 fanboys, I see no reason not to slap around a fanboy in the ranks. I'd like to think the Mazda community is better than being supportive of fan boys.

It's nice when those conversations remain objective, intelligent, open minded, but you're apparently not capable of that. No matter what comes out of a conversation about cars that you get involved in, somehow you've got to spin it so that you're winning. If there is a car faster than the MS3, the MS3 has a nicer interior, or is cheaper, or more room. If there is a car with more room, it's slower, or more expensive. If there is a car with a nicer interior, it's too pricey. If it's a close call in terms of performance with the edge going to another car, it becomes a drivers race so the door is still open for you to be winning some how. Shut up about it, man. When I want to talk about the new G8, I don't want to listen to some twerp from the sidelines screaming "Yea but the MS3 is cheaper and gets better mileage!" If I want to discuss how slick the DSG is I don't want to hear about how we've got a half second on it out to 60. I don't need my own car defended to me.

Look, you can be pretty helpful in some threads, but when SwampAss starts busting your balls just to rile you up and then calls you a fan boy, it's not just 1 or 2 guys noticing it. We don't even flame you, we just tell you that you're sounding like a fan boy and ask you to stop.

insulting and offensive would be having the title "I like little boys" pasted under every one of your posts :)

This is my #1 fan!

I'm surprised he doesn't have "banned" typed under his name yet. Read all the insults in that post! For those of you that don't know the whole story read the entire thread before listening to my #1 fan here happy and angry.
And for your information happy and angry it's only yourself and maybe 3 others at most that flame me so when you cliam "others" that's not saying a whole lot

So in summary, there are a few members that apparently have a hard-on for me and just can't stop the insults. Guess I'll just use the ignore feature myself since nothing is going to come of this obviously.

I'm not really interested in posting more links than has already been done in this thread, and I'm not going to rattle off all the PMs I've gotten about you saying "Thank god I'm not the only one that can't stand that fanboy", because you're obviously not actually interested in listening.

I will, however, point out that:

- I have defended your contributions to threads when you're not being a fanboy
- You don't really know what an insult is if you think being called an un-objective fanboy is an insult.

Actually to be honest here, he was expressing his opinion, and wasn't really insulting or offensive. Some of the stuff he said certainly has validity. I have been a car nut all my life, and certainly love to discuss the finer points of various cars as they come along. Calling something "crap" or always deeming it inferior doesn't make you well liked in most circles. Automotive design is ever changing, and there is a never ending parade of models to choose from. Every single one of them is an exercise in give and take.

Dude, I haven't been flamming other cars. See original post
