WRX 440cc injectors

just curious, i already have the injectors, just need to figure out how to make them work properly, no ghetto stuff here, lol...

So this is me, bumping an insanely old thread.

Based on the info I found here (and through some other searching I did) it looks like you just have to do the 'electrical tape wrapping' to the WRX injectors to get everything to sit properly and snugly? Or did that become a problem as ForceFed indicated it might? .. Or is the 'electrical tape wrapping' actually not needed at all?

Total plug and play. Direct replacement. No mods needed (other than to your tune). If you need a set, I have 4.

Bumping an old thread.. need some help. I recently took out my injectors to replace the o-rings on them, everything is back in and in order, but I'm wondering if I need to do anything to the system in order for my car to start? Such as turn my car on and off to allow the fuel pump to do it's thing?

all i did was drop the injectors in. used the stock mazda o-rings, perrin fuel rail, no extra spacers. everything fits fine, the orings are a tiny bit too big but a dab of oil will keep them on the injectors when instaling the rail. the extra length of the injectors seems to be benifit since it squishes the orings creating a tighter seal.

as far as priming you can jump two of the pins on the DLC connectors and it'll activate the fuel pump... or you can pull the fuse in the engine bay labled fuel inj or ecu or something. and it'll keep the injectors from firing, but crank te egine and activate the fuel pump.

if you got the FSM it says which pins to jump.. i'll ake a look
