Cross your fingers Guys

I did all the paperwork on a new MS3 last night as the dealer was closing, they are calling up the banks this morning to see if we can work something out. If everything goes well ill be driving home a Black Mica MS3 sport tonight.(headbang)(drive2)

Lol, no ive been busy with work. I walked on their first offer, too little on my trade and almost full sticker, and took the sad ride home. I get a call today from the supervisor that they are crunching numbers to get me where i want to be, I'll get a phone call tomorrow from him with the best he can do. SOOOOOO if i like what they have to say, ill be riding home in the MS3 tomorrow. I really like the car but i don't want to kill myself in payments.

Good move, walking on the first offer. I did my chewing on the phone between dealers and turned down offers only to have them call me back 10 mins later with a better offer. If you have another dealer near by then pit them against each other.

ive been hassling with dealerships for the last 2 months, they're completeeeeely ridiculous here, and im getting impatient, i want my speed3! haha

I know the feeling. The car market sucks right now, you would think they would want to sell a car even if they take a little hit in profit. Still no call, the suspense is killing me(nailbyt)

Go to a dealership that desperately needs to sell cars.

Get to the dealership and hassle them for a week, get on semi-friendly terms with the general sales manager. Gain their trust; let them think you're in their pocket.

Get them to go as low as possible for you. Walk out on any offer you don't like. When you reach something you like ask for a copy of the Buyer's Form (If they give it up) to show your spouse/family member for approval.

Then go to another dealership in a better area and show them they Buyer's Form and ask them if they can beat that deal.

I can't tell you how much this worked for me..... I got such a good deal its ridiculous.

Thanks for that advice, There are 3 speed dealers in my general area so that can work out nicely.

Ok i broke down and called the Manager yesterday. He should have an answer for me today, this is starting to feel like a run around. I did put my feeler out at another dealer like Add1ct suggested, they have a Red sport in stock. Either way im will be driving a Speed even if i have to wheel and deal for a month. My 06 Jeep Rubi is great but I want something with a little zing when you step on it.

I've got a 1999 Sahara. Not modded much- Bilstein HDs, Hella E-Codes, Banks Torque Tube header, and MB Quart speakers. I was going to sell it when I bought my MS3, but I decided to keep it. I'm glad I did; as it turns out I'll probably end up keeping it longer than the MS3...(thumb)
