Pics from my roadtrip to Colorado

Wow! I'm starting to feel a bit depressed living here in Florida :(

Any runs with the GTO?

Yeah from a 40 roll, pretty even until about 80-90 then he started walking me.

By the way FF7 REPRESENT. :)

where did you go?

I'm from Minneapolis, so we had to go through South Dakota (blah) and then down through Wyoming to Colorado. We then proceeded to spend half a week making a big circle in Colorado driving on any road that looked fun and scenic.

Nah that was the only good one. I have a pic of it in my side mirror a ways back, that's about it. We stopped at a rest area about a half hour later and they came flying by us but I didn't have the camera out :/.

It looks like the Dodge Challenger SRT8 beats us by .6 seconds to 60 mph and .7 seconds to the 1/4 mile and it traps 7 mph faster and beats us by 17 mph on the top end. On the positive side, our Mazdaspeed 3's will haul more stuff and stop 8 feet quicker from 70-0 mph.

2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8

Thanks to that monster motor and a short first gear, the Challenger does earn a dollop of street cred, hitting 60 mph in 4.8 seconds, charging through the quarter-mile in 13.3 at 108 mph, and running to a drag-limited top speed of 168 mph.

I wish I had this car back when I lived in CO.
but then again i had a nice 4x4 truck back then.

Car performed really well. She ate a little bit of oil coming down from Pike's Peak but I wasn't really surprised it was engine brake city almost the whole way down. As far as gas mileage I got about 28mpg most of the time on the interstate, give or take 1 or 2 depending on the winds, it was pretty windy most of the week.
