Pinoy Mazda owners.

San Miguel beer, ito ang beer! Half pinoy here. I was born in the Phillipines and lived in Angeles City and La Union. My mother was born and raised in Bagio. Unfortunately, I do not speak tagalog or Ilocano like my mother, but I can cook like her!

Add me. I was born and raised in Long Beach. I can somewhat read tagalog, I can understand it, but I can't speak it.

I hear this so often (me being one of them). So many flips can understand but not speak tagalog. All my Spanish, Chinese, Korean, 1st and 2nd generation American born friends can both understand and speak their native language.

Plus Tagalog is approx. 25% of Spanish (Damn Spanish Crown) so you can follow-up somehow.... i.e. Vapor, Lechon de Leche, Problema, Menudo, Apelyido... :D

Yeah a lot of people always ask me how it's possible to just understand but not speak lol.

yeah i know that place !!! its like 2 minutes driving hehehhe.... what car do u have ?and do u have a CAR CLUB ???
Right now I drive a Mazda 5 and a 92 BMW 318is. I'll be getting a MazdaSpeed 3 or building another CRX soon. I'm leaning more towards just getting the MazdaSpeed 3 so I have a car that I can have fun with on the weekends and still do my daily routine with my kids during the week. If I do decide to build another CRX though, my goal is 600+ HP. I'm not settling for any power less than that :D my last build made around 325 hp so I wanna pretty much double those numbers. I never dyno'd it though. Most of the power came from the 120 shot of nitrous I threw at it lol.

No car clubs for me, that's just not me, i'm not into the car club thing. Although when I had my last CRX before I sold it I got hit up left and right to join people's car clubs. 11 second passes at LACR does the trick I suppose lol...

Regina, Saskatchewan. Phantom blue. The only Mazda5 GT in the city with a mudflap. Only pinoy in the City who bought a Mazda5. Most friends went for odysseys to accomodate the newly arrived relatives. Those who had minivans before, now opted for mini-suvs to avail of the AWD 'no need to shovel snow in driveway'.. Some friends won't fit on the smallish Mazda5 seats due to lack of exercise, so they would go for Ford Escape and bigger vehicles for example. So, mazda5 do not appeal very much to the pinoy culture here.
