Let's say i just get the reflash and after warranty ends, due to mazda's faulty fuel pump i need replacement. Do i have to fork over good chunk of money to get it replaced? Isnt it their fault that they installed faulty fuel pump?

What if my engine drops after warranty ends, do i have to pay 13k for that too?

How about my turbo seal?

These are all possibility of what could happen. It happened to those who got their recall done.

Am i just too paranoid?

Keep this theory up and you should stay in bed less something terrible happen to you... yes you are being a tad paranoid... yes s*** happens but for the vast majority of us nothing happens... dont lose perspective - remember its a forum and when bad s*** happens it gets reported quickly... how many daily posts do you see with "nothing to see here... car ran fine" -

isn't our engine the same (mostly) as that in the mazdaspeed 6, the cx-7 etc...

I would imagine mazda has a lot more @ stake than just our little niche product, so they must have a pretty good idea whats going on with the engine and it's various components.
