this is a great idea and all....but put up more information dude

like start a formal thread that lays down all the information in post #1, explain the graphs, pricing, etc...if you dont know a price give a ballpark figure, etc...

this thread is worthless without any information...

There is a formal thread already!

Im not trying to get ppl to buy i am just making ppl aware that there are other options. PPL who want the info have gotten it already or have searched it out ..

In any case, thanks for posting. Is there any information that you can share on Performance Racing? Two or three hour ride for me! :D PM if need be.

This thread is worthless period. Stop all the talkin, this guy is in orlando, which is in florida, which is in the US, which contains us spec MS3s...stop all the talking and do it already. The more i read the more hoakie (no offense) it seems...the proof is in the pudding. Lets just get this on a car with prior dyno numbers then dyno it again...youll see how fast these will fly off the "shelf" once you do that and prove your 40hp claims.

This is directed at the vendor, not you nyp. Just wanna be clear.

How bout throwing this flash on the most powerful stock turbo ms3 that still runs in the nation and seeing what it will do? Im game. LOL

Seems like good stuff. Im very interested. If 40whp gains are possible than my car should hit 320whp relatively easy. ON STOCK BOOST!

without more info, you can't reasonably expect people to consider sending away their ECU to some dude in FL. yes, i know it's "Performance Racing", but 99% of us have no idea who they are, so a formal introduction is definitely in order. i know people are supposedly getting "information sent to them", but asking for private emails to send this information just sounds SHADY! i am aware that this site blocks things, but make a formal post with information pasted into this forum if you (Performance Racing) would like to seriously get our interest.

i'll be completely honest when i say that this whole post sounds shady as hell as it stands right now, so you've got a fat chance in hell of getting me to entrust my ECU to you without a full disclosure of:

1. what ECU reflash does (raise boost, lean out AFR, etc.).
2. how much it costs (and yes, "a lot less than $900" is WAY too vague).
3. company information complete with website and phone number.

yes, i know some of this information can be searched for, but if you want our business, make the effort.

if i sound skeptical in this post, it's because i actually AM thoroughly unimpressed by the way Performance Racing is doing business here. having a forum user (on both this forum and the mazda3 forum) make a post like this without a formal disclosure by the producer of the product is bad form to say the least. if you want our business for a product 99% of us have never even heard of from a company we are completely in the dark about, it's time to earn it.
 
see thats where ppl have it backwards !!! the info has be out for atleast 2 weeks and my posts were to simplytell ppl I AM DOING IT and ill check back with how it works, and this is what i know............NOT !!!! TO!!!! SELL!!!! IT !!!!!!!!

Im not %100 sure if the changing they are doing is to the Australian map but it will be for the US version of the car.... The stock maps are different the Australian version of the car holds 16psi boost to 7000 rpm .

dude, i understand that you're posting by yourself, but the Performance Racing guy has posted more than once in this thread and the one in the other forums. what, he doesn't have time to formally make a thread to introduce his company and product on these forums? ya, i searched and found the information, but it doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling that all that information was not available right in these forums. certainly not warm and fuzzy enough for me or, dare i say, most of the users on this board to be running off shipping our ECUs to another state for a reflash.

like i said, this was aimed at Performance Racing, not you, nypest. as it stands right now, i'm still solidly in line for the cobb accessport. ya, i am 110% aware that the release of the AP has been doubted by many people throughout the community, but you know what? this car is a DD for most people, and the AP is a better choice, imo. given the options, i would much gather forget about EMS altogether rather than trust my car's operation to some dude in FL who hasn't even taken the effort to formally introduce himself to the community to contact piasini engineering in europe to send him a flash for my car. ya, that doesn't sound shady at all either, btw...
