And the Build Begins!!

Day 1
Started putting my motor together. Need a few gaskets and a timing belt and it will be finished.

Speed Circuit Block , Ported Polished Heads/vavle job, Ferrea Racing Valve Springs and Retainers, ARP Head Studs, Deep Sump Oil Pan.
Not pictured. Ported 626 Intake Manifold. Getting powder coated at the moment.

I will post the rest of what i'm doing as i go. Garrett 60 Trim Here we come!! Stay tuned.

DAY 2

The Motor and Tranny are finished. Bolting everything into the car on sat april 19th!!

5/4/08 SOOOO CLOSE....Intake and FMIC are installed. Just gotta make a lower radiator hose and get a missing rubber for the bottom of the radiator, and a slim line fan. Other than that theres just the vacum, fix up my mid pipe and whala the car should being in running condition. And of course the gauges.

What pistons and rods are you using?

And why did you deck the block..was it damaged or warped?

We didn't deck mine because it was fine..so no need to remove material where its alreay close enough on tolerances.

Pauter Rods ,Arias pistons...Speed circuit built the block for me and did a fantastic Job. Not one imperfection.

Thanks guys...Looking to have my tranny all put together by next tuesday. So once thats done i will really go to town on this thing. Hopefully have it up and running in a week and a half.

wow that's awesome. i can't wait to see! i might have missed it, but what type of turbo setup are you running?

i def wanna go turbo, i just don't have the funding to rebuild motor! i know i'd leave it sit around 7 psi all the time, b/c i know i'm a broke college student and can not afford a build! urgh! any advice pm me! haha

is the turbo kit going on a stock msp kit or the aftermarket kit in your sig? i would guess aftermarkt considering the build. DUH!
