Okay, so it worked this time... and I was just hoping to copy the error code I kept getting about excess bytes in the search module.
Sorry for the false alarm.

Ahhh, back to normal. Here's the error I get:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes) in /home/mazdamp3/www/vbb367/includes/functions_search.php on line 219

It doesn't matter if I'm using Firefox, IE or trying to post from my crackberry. What gives?

buggy. I had the same problem a month ago. Apparently, it's an issue that's been going on as I searched the error here.

on a side note, if you are posting a thread with a commonly used word in it the system sometimes gets overloaded. The example I can personally vouch for is putting the word "car" in a thread title, I don't know the reason and it kinda sucks, but its real. To test and see if this is your problem, try and search "car" and you will probably get the same error.

Thanks for the tip about common words - my thread title did in fact include the word "car".

And to think that you were one of the users on here that hadn't lost my respect yet. From your posts, I thought you actually had some knowledge AND some maturity. If it is NOT in fact UNC (its a bit blurry) then you may remain my virtual friend and counselor. But if it IS, then I am affraid that you and I will have to part ways as I am not allowed to associate with anyone who believes that UNC is better than DUKE.
