Boost(psi) Related Question??

I have a question for everyone with a bc. Please answer with this format if you could. I would very much appreciate it.

1 Elevation?
2 Mods?
3 What bc?
4 If you go through the gears what is your max boost when you hit 4th gear and how much at 6k in 4th gear? I would really appreciate it. Please post your real numbers.

Here is mine for example

1. 2700ft
2. dp, tp, sri, cdfp, 1 step colder plugs, forge dv redspring
3. turbosmart
4. 20psi falling to 15psi. (scratch)

2. sri,fmic,mid pipe, cbe, forge dv blue spring 2 shims, atp inlet pipe
3. turbosmart
4. 20psi holding at 19psi till redline no fall off no cut of any sort

4. spike 21 settles at 18-19psi
 
3rd-4th gear doesn't hold boost like 5th and 6th for me either. I'm guessing its cause of the difference in load the motor is going through between the shifts and since 5th and 6th have a different final the shift from 4th into 5th which is a taller gear causes the turbo to spike and hold higher? Yay or nay?

I hold boost like a champ with the welfare mod BPV.....BUT it wont support boost over 17-18 PSI with out giving me this waste gate flutter. Atleast i was able to hold boost till redline though
 
my s*** is goofy. if i run through the gears i hit about 18psi in fourth and it will fall to about 14psi if i take it to the rev limit. i cant turn mine up any higher than that though. if i make it hit 20psi in fourth when i run through the gears, i get crazy high boost levels if i mash the gas from a roll in an upper gear. as it is now running through the gears i see 18psi in fourth, but if i am cruising in fourth gear and go WOT i will spike to about 21psi hold 19, and drop to about 15 by redline. if i am in 5th or 6th gear and go hard on the throttle i hold like.... 23psi as it is now. my car seems tricky to dial in the boost. if it holds where i want it for drag racing, it goes way too high if i roll on it. if i set it where it doens go too high from a roll, it holds lower than i would like for racing. i think an upgraded IC should help this a little. getting rid of the pressure loss across the stock IC should help the car hold a little more boost on the top end.

its not just your car bro. thats a small turbo for you. In order to hold boost railing through the gears you gotta turn the boost controller way up. Then if you punch it in anything higher than 3rd gear, it will spike way high. I say **** it, Im gonna do the ptp big wheel upgrade for sure. That way the deal still doesnt know its been modded.
 
hmmmm driver is at 2700ft
yup24z is at 200ish
i am around 500ft. all with similar results. i dont think it is altitude related.
seems like a weak WGA issue to me ......i give my buddy at FORGE a call and see if i can get some upgrades made !

DID YOU SAY BIG WHEEL!?!?!? (bow) About time........ What about a port and polish to go along with it?
 
i think a stiffer WGA will help us hold the boost better. that seems to help a lot for the SRT-4's. i emailed forge about it last night. no word back yet.
