cant believe your selling it.. what has this world come to lol. Really sorry about the injury man. Good luck with everything.
whatever happened to them venting your hood? that was you right?
i dont wanna detract from you for sale thread, but isnt this injury going to heal?? seems like a pretty big sacrifice to sell your car just cuz you wouldnt be able to drive it for a few months...
no worries, ur not detracting (wiggle)
See the diagram below. The entire highlighted area is what i tore. To make a long story short, i would be able to drive a stick for atleast a year. and that's if the surgery is even successful. The doctor even told me that their is a chance, the ligaments could fuse together and i wouldn't be able to even turn or move my wrist, it would be like solid bone.
If surgery was successful (which again, after lots of research, i have not found 1 pain free person), i am looking at around 3-4 months with a cast up to above my elbow, with another 3-4 months of immobility after that. Then comes physical therapy. All in all, IF, the surgery is successful, i am looking at least a year before i am back in the MS3 saddle. I just can't wait that long.
all i can say is OUCH.... how the hell did you do that?
either way it blows man, I tore a ligament in my ankle a few years ago and couldnt drive right for a few months but luckily i didnt need surgery and its healed about 90% now. I wish you luck with the sale and definitely lots of luck with the surgery and a quick/full recovery...
pics are good, good luck with the sale mang
If it makes you feel any better, I injured the same spot....only difference is I trashed the cartilage... Nothing but downside in trying to repair it, so I just live with it. It's forced quite a few adjustments, to say the least.See the diagram below. The entire highlighted area is what i tore. To make a long story short, i wouldn't be able to drive a stick for atleast a year. and that's if the surgery is even successful. The wrist is not a very robust joint since it doesn't bear a load (like the knee). For me, all it took was lifting and rotating one of those 10-gal rectangular plastic bins...went from belt-high, longest length against the body, to shortest length against the body and 6 inches higher, turning counter-clockwise.all i can say is OUCH.... how the hell did you do that?
