Konig Feather

Hey guys. I finally ordered the wheels I want. I went with the Konig Feather wheel. Mega light, great quality, and great price. The wheel weighs 16.8LBS each 17" wheel. Can't wait to put them on once spring hits. Let me know your guys opinions also. Thanks in advance.

I was also looking at these rims to get...
Im going to wait until my tires run outta tread then maybe Ill get some of these.
The AP will be out by then so I should be able to recalibrate my speedometer, which is pretty sweet:)

Lol, sweet indeed. As far as the wheels go, I don't think you can beat them for the price. Extremely light weight and good durability. I think they will look really aggressive once they are on the car. I didn't want anything to flashy but at the same time I wanted to make a statement. I have seen other M3's around my city and they are nothing special. This should set me apart from the rest of the crowd.

I hate to burst you bubble.
That offset is no good.

Ya dude they fit on the car, the problem is it messes with the supension geometry to much. The offset on modern cars is very important, imo your offst shoould never be more than 4mm off of stock 52.5mm.

Although this is somewhat true, you are FINE with your offset and setup. Unless you specifically want to race this car and keep it within SCCA class rules, the above statement is 100% valid!

The problem is that 52.5 offset on the MS3 is a KILLER for getting nice/light wheels that will fit our car. You need to compromise and the rim width and offset as well as the tire, play a key role in determining what your needs are.

Good luck bud,
Carlos

I have done some research on this and from what I have found out is that anything 10mm and under will work fine. Going with a light weight rim was very important to me, but at the same time I don't want to mess with any of the suspension dynamics. I have read that I will actually get improved handling going with the offset on the new wheels. The suspension will be just fine if not improved going this route. Thanks for all the info guys.
