6 speed retrofit into MSP?

the speed3,mini cooper s, srt 4 calibur, and the svt focus all use the same six speed tranny. that is all

then there is getting the stock speedo calibrated to the Transmission and splicing the reverse lamp switch to the 6

speedo reading on the msp is taken out of the ABS sensor..but im not 100% sure on this

There was a user here with a spicy that had a SVT 6 speed sitting around and found out that it doesn't line up with the FS at all. Too bad, our cars could really benefit from a 6th gear.

my gas mileage could benefit from a 6th gear. 70 miles per hour at like 3300rpms FTL. The fact that there is an R on my shift knob rather than a 6 is my biggest complaint about this car.

With an adapter plate, you can bolt on anything you want !! Then custom axles and you're set !
