I don't start my 'real' job until June 30 after I graduate so for now I sit here bored making like $13/hr...
Anyway, to end the threadjack, what are your plans for the P5? Keep it stock, small appearance mods, mild performance, autox, all out power, etc? Lots of resources and many (and in your case, very willing) members here to offer help.

To keep it short I'm still a college student and I'll be graduating in the Spring. I currently work for the US Gov't but I stop this week and on June 30 I start working for GE - Aviation as an Aerospace Engineer... yeah, i'm a nerd...

honsetly, right now, all i'm gonna do it small cosmetic mods on it. when i'm rollin' in the dough, performance can come later... all i want right now is to make the headlights have black housing, change the hideous stock taillights, put the front lip on, and get a carbon fiber hood... as far as performance, its not a 5-speed, so it would be kinda useless as of the current moment. i actually miss my WRX for that reason... the 5 speed was so easy and fun to drive... not to mention, turbo-fast... lol

i have great respect for you... i love and support our military with everything! sometimes people just dont remember "freedom isn't free"...
Well you can make these turbo fast (hehe)... Sounds good although if you are going to change out the taillights look for the JDM taillights. They look almost identical to the regular sedan headlights and are generally considering the best looking ones. The headlight black out is easy - you have to do it yourself because the ones sold on Ebay are for the sedans, there is a how-to around here somehwere. For a front lip, look into DG Motorsports, the MSP front lip, or if you're lucky the AutoEXE lip.

lol, I guess that's better than the 'oh...' I usually get at parties when people ask my major. It's tough, I won't lie, but to me it's a fun field and there's a good amount of money involved.

thats awesome! i think its best to work with your interests. for me, i want to eventually become, yes, a cop. and on monday, i'm going to be starting my new job for the department of corrections at the Norco Prison, or CRC here. i would love to be around cars all the time, but u cant do both... lol

I must agree...I do miss SoCal...Once I get out of this god forsaken desert its back to Ft. Irwin, CA...First place im going is pacific beach, my home away from home, then to El Cajon for my home coming party...god i cant wait
