An update for others with this problem. I followed the diagram exactly and it did not fix my problem so I took it to a shop who charged me $60 to fix it and tell me that the diagram had a few things backwards for my car. So it may work for some, but if it doesn't that is why.

Hmm, sorry, never used the how-to myself because I have stock 4 eyes. Glad you got it going. If you know which things weren't right, update the how-to for others.

It's funny i ran into this topic.My friend gave me brand new black housing headlights tonight about 15 minutes ago and i immediately realized that it's a single bulb headlight and i have dual. Now im the original owner of the car and i've yet to use the high beams so i won't mind losing them. My question is are the headlights bulb and headlight sockets compatible or are the stock P5 bulb housing a different size?
