626 Auto lock

98 626- is there a way to disable auto lock?
youngest has locked keys in car twice with it running

Is the system aftermarket or OEM? If its OEM, go to the dealer, they will reset it. If aftermarket, find out the brand and learn how to disable that function.

If you really hate it man you could probably go in and cut the wires for it.

Make a spare key and always keep it on you.

and yeah man, thi is a very simple problem to fix.

A. do not leave the keys in the car

B. Make a spare key for your wallet or something

$800 for FD's with brand new tires on them of the appropriate size is far from expensive. The wheels alone will cost you $400-500 in this condition. Plus $600-800 for crap tires in this size...

I don't care if anyone thinks its over priced, because I know for a fact no one could buy them and build the same package or even a similar one for the same price. I have no issues keeping them.

Also, don't just cut the wires...doing so can create severe electrical issues later on down the road if not instantly.

remote start is aftermarket, but auto door lock was standard with the car.

^Yes. But in all honesty, it sounds like a feature of the remote start. Either way, the dealer should be able to help you out.

Well actually the Kumho SPTs are far better then the Yoko ES100's and the Falken Tires and any tire shop will tell you the same. The Toyos are like $1200 for tires alone.
