I'm trying to decide which MS3 to get... I've narrowed it down to red, black and silver lol this thread was pretty insightful... yet, sadly... no progress has been made. they all have their pros & cons i guess

you just left one out...lol
i like the silver, other than the red..i had a black ca, and i got over that quick..i like the red alot.it really stands out.. silver blends in more..

yeah well... no offense but that cosmic blue just doesn't do it for me. red was/is my #1 choice... but after seeing a black one at the dealership, i must admit... it looked pretty damn good. so is black really as hard to keep clean as everyone says?

Dude, hard to keep clean doesn't even describe it... I keep mine garaged and drive my
truck half the time and I still can't keep her spotless. A car cover and a real good wax job is the only chance to keep it clean

I have 2 black cars and one silver. The silver car is a dream when it comes to keeping it looking clean compared to the black cars, but silver can be a little bland. A well maintained black looks incredible to me, but the constant cleaning can get old after awhile.

I've been washing my car at least every other week (every week during the summer) for as long as I've had it... and give it a thorough detail at least once a month or so. since i've never owned a black car before... i'm not exactly sure what I'd be getting myself into. while orange isn't quite as easy to maintain as silver... it's up there. people have asked if I just washed my car... meanwhile it was about as dirty as it ever had been. I'm guessing black shows EVERYTHING. thing is... this particular black (black mica) sort've looks dirty.. even when it's not. so, just like gunmetal wheels, maybe that "hides" the dirt more than a true black car. decisions decisions...

You should be ok with your current routine... I wash mine once a week. Also, you're correct that Black Mica does help hide things a bit. My other black car is pearl which shows absolutely everything.

mspro19... simply gorgeous!!! wow

Je5ter... I've never seen an MS3 in white. looks good... very classy. so... what's the deal? did you have it custom painted or something?
