guess your friend doenst know how to care for a car. I sold my 04 srt with 88k miles and it was still in great condition. Its been making over 330whp for most of its life and still had strong, even compression. The car went to the strip at least once a month cutting loooooow 12's on slicks. Oh yea...and when i sold it i still got more than i owed.
back to the thread...yea alot of them are even dicks to fellow srt owners. Every car has folks like that....even had a few peeps in other ms3's do the same things

its very true, he doesn't. and he bought it new which was retarded, and didn't break it in properly. I warned him several times about doing that. either way its still amazing to me how much the thing is falling apart at 50k, no matter how bad he is at mantaining.

This is what I think as far as what I have experienced:
SRT4 owners: All of them I have met is some cockyass douche. There are two exceptions...some dude mike raced and mike's friend. Thats it, i had one try to race me but i knew the outcome, so declined....he kept insisting and pushing until he finally said "yo, u luckyz u did-ehnt dawg, cuz im sprayin shitload...then another one, tailed my ass and I punched it for 5 seconds and hit the brakes, not to immediately slow down, but to let him know I stopped running, and he was coming fast behind me and right at the last second swerved out of my lane, gazing my rear bumper by inches, and flied by me. I caught him on the next traffic light and bitched at his ghetto ass. As I roled my window up, he started revving high and laughing....i roled it back down and he stopped and said "thats a fast car" with a smurk...sarcasm or not, just wanted to pummel his ass, but people like that arent worth it.
Evo owners are either douchebags or cocky. My general experience is cocky with a salt of arrogance. But they are good guys, just overly hyped on the ego. Sti guys are like that but less. Their forums says a lot. Go the evo forum and they tear each other out jsut for asking a simple questions. The STi forum is actually good. Srt4 forums are alright.

Don't I know that from first hand experience. As a moderator of a Lancer/Evolution board, certain Evo owners can be pricks to n00bs who ask the simplest question. Also, it is not just the Evo owners, RalliArt and base Lancer owners can be prick too.
First off I don't consider you a dick for owning an SRT-4 (hell everyone has their faults)! What I do consider you is a friggin IDIOT for doing 160 MPH on public roads!! WTF are you thinking/ trying to prove? Christ wake the **** up and think of other folks rather than yourself. I can't even imagine what would happen if you hit another vehicle at that speed..let alone an animal.
Guess Darwin always wins in these cases..... (notcool)

agreed dude. not to sound like your father or anything because im only 24, but damn. its not like BAM 160 and back down. it takes a while to hit that speed and then come back down so your in the red for a while. even at 120 your hitting the point of no return if you hit ANYTHING. nice top speed and all, but be safe when driving a rocket. do it where its not so dangerous.
yeah what the hell is that about. sorry but OzRally's and what not have no right to rip evo drivers apart. I dont know why but it just dont seem right.
-yeah they are kinda brutel over there for no real reason. but if you search and ask questions after searching you can find alot of helpful and good info.

well first off our forum is not all theat good about not jumping all over newbees asking the same Q or hell some one asking a Q in the how to granted i know its not corect and they didnt read but why cant we answere the Q and point out? where did the douing 160 on residential streets come from? i rarely get into the tripple didgets. i also think its the person thats the dick not what they drive beacuse ive meet tons of pricks in just about every model of car the only real exception is off roading jeep owners. well i guess thats my rant and rave for the day.
Holy run-on sentences batman! =P I've done my share of dumb things with my cars, but I honestly think that us telling the 160mph public road driver isn't going to change him much, especially on an online forum. He should learn it for himself how irresponsible it is as I did. like... my speeding car + tree = bad ^_^;;

Mustang owners are generally pretty cool. There is however a complete lack of respect to the current generation (I have an 06) by Fox Body (79-93) owners in particular.
wing is actually proven to increase downforce at higher speeds. Speeds that srt-4's are known for being able to achieve. lol

EVO's - Haven't had a chance to play with b/c everytime I see one a) driver is arrogant, or b) doesn't want to play with me at all. I have had many occasions but nothing...
SRT 4's - Haven't met one yet that has smoked me and then they don't even have any respect to nod or anything after... I have eaten alive 4 srt's and the last one sounded and looked sick.
Mustangs - Pretty cool, haven't met a dickhead driver yet.

I have an evo story while in my friends srt-4, we rolled up on an evo the guy was arrogant and kind of stupid. He herd us through the rice plate and tried to dismiss us with its turboed go away. Needless to say we were laughing our heads off to that comment. O well here is to arrogance.
