here is my "other" blue car. something about the lapis blue on the 6 did me in, had to have my new car in the same color. a 2003 SVT Mustang Cobra. in sonic blue. the only way to roll. :D

if i were to get one of the newer body style ones, it would have to be the MACH1's, other than the 04-05 SVT cobra, they look the best stock... maybe its just the color choices...

Damn that's nice...miss my 'stangs even more.
The one that I really wanted (not really a Mustang but close) was the '85 Mercury Capri RS...I had an '84 but it had the V-6 in it.
 
Hey Mustang people, I have an 06 GT and have a decision on my hands. Basically its Turbonetics or Kenne Bell. Each kit is about the same price. Give me some opinions....
 
My 2002 GT... I loved this car but I had to get rid of it. It became un streetable. Vortech V2 SQ Supercharger at 10psi, custom intercooler, NX ntercooler sprayer, full exhaust, SCT tuned by Turbo People of NY. 31 Spline axles, FRPP Differential, short throw, carbon fiber cobra r hood painted over, 03 cobra front bumper, wing delete, and more. Made 405hp 393tq without the nitrous spray. Its race weight was 3200lbs so it kept up with the bolt on and pullied cobras

Turbonetics kit....actually, the hellion kits ive heard nothing but good things about. Dont know if they make them for the new models tho. Kenne bells are nice but turbo v8 FTW. Superchargers are hell on the belt.

I forget how large the SVT motors were...Sheesh...the heads are massive and that intake pipe looks like it could handle a basketball! Nice (thumb)

I think the Hellion kit actually uses a Turbonetics Turbo but Turbonetics recently came out with their own kit.
 
good lookin gt man. i dig it. i can understand the unstreetable part. my cobra is only my weekend toy. if i had to daily drive it, there is no way. lol.

as for the new gt, man, the whipple kit is very sweet. i know a guy here locally running 11's with his gt and the whipple setup. ;)


antione- imagine, its only 281 cubic inches. :D its all in those massive 4v heads.

Yeah FR/Whipple is definitely an option also. Obviously there's Roush too, but they're just price gougers in my opinion. The turbo setup seems to add a lot more power for similar cost though.

it can go both ways. The superchargers can snap your belt after a while and leave you stuck. They also put more strain on the motor because your using power to make power. Turbo is just using useless exhaust gases to make power
