why does the one set have that extra lip on top? i looked at the lights and dont see where it would go.

EDIT: i take it you cant buy mint blue stuff anymore. i looked for the eyelids and found nothing

got HID my kit today. installation seems confusing to me.

does the plastic tube around the bulb stay on or does it remove when you go to install. i got the top off but does the bottom stay on? i dont see how to get it off w/o breaking it. it comes off the bulb but how do i get it out of the wires? or does it stay on once i get the bulb clipped in?

which one of the plugs on the stock harness is positive and which is negative?

everything in the kit plugs into something else in the kit except two prongs that appear to connect to the stock harness, i just dont know which prong goes to which on the harness. also, is there a left and right ballast or is it universal in that aspect?

the instructions dont really help. basically i need to know how to tell which socket on the stock harness (the white cross looking thing) gets which plug from the kit. the socket is not marked pos/neg, yet the wires in the kit are.

If you want a clean install, I removed my front bumper and hid the ballasts in the fender well. All you see are two wires in the engine compartment.

use a wire cutter to take bottom clear plastic off, and what color are the wires on both side

installed a 139 decible (sp) air horn, it sounds like a big rig not a train. I am thinking of getting a bigger air compressor and buying a 3 horn train setup. Btw if anyone does this use a 20a fuse not a 30a, and RTM! I melted some wires first try.
