Will they fit?

Could this be done easily?

I sat in MS3, and quite honestly, the only thing I liked better than my MSP, were the front seats.

They look real nice, and I feel they would compliment the interior nicely.

i dont know about you guys but here, if the seats dont bolt direrclty in, there not legal and insurrance will be "mad" if they found out after a crash..

Don't matter to me, I'm getting out of the MSP and into a true sports car.

I would assume that you could check to see if they would fit, or possibly make a new seat bracket.

Swapping seats out of an f-body into a j-body was possible becuase the brackets matched...granted...its a little different here :)

how do you consider that a real sports car? sounds like a rear happy animal to me.
How do you not?(bang)

Do you really want me to post the definition of a sports car?

I'm guessing you haven't driven the two platforms to the limit, otherwise you would know how stupid that statement/question is.

Front drive sucks, if you do not think so you obviously don't know much about vehicle dynamics.

I'm sorry man, but there is a point where a front drive car quits turning, and all it does is push. Maybe you haven't experienced that, but I only use my cars for mountain backroads, and the MSP has a limit. Once you go beyond that, the front slides, and you quit turning.

Also, I was basically at the limit of the car. Without going stand alone and built I couldn't go much faster without a lot of money.

(ugh)Please please please tell me you don't seriously think the MSP is a sports car...(rofl)

Listen, my MSP was just as fast as yours, and that isn't fast enough for me, and I'm not willing to sink more money into it for very little performance gains. Total money, including the car is over 20k.

Do you have any clue what 20k can buy you perfromance wise?

A hell of a lot more than a MSP can ever offer.

Now, don't get me wrong, the MSP is great at being what it is, but not great at being what it is trying to be. A sports car.

wow chill out dude, for one i know what a sportscar is. i wasnt saying anything about the msp. trust me, i know fwd sucks i just dont have the ability to get anything else right now.

sportscars are about balance and i just think 350rwhp is a alittle much power for a car of that weight. what kind of suspension mods does it have? brakes upgraded?

Wow, im sorry you ever owned an MSP. Ill make sure do destroy my non sports car today so theres one less on the road for ya.(2thumbs)

Well no matter what kind of 240 you get it will be almost a 10 yeras old atleast. I dont know about you but I absolutely love my newer MSP. yes it may not have as much power. But it is nicer for the most part. Older cars are just not(most of the time) as nice. Swapped motor or whatever it has it is alot older. My msp can always be built and made faster. It will always be rare. You cant make a car rare. But you sure as hell can make it faster. The platform is indeed better if you ask me.

The 240 will be a much better platform, plus it's just as rare as an MSP because the one I'm looking at is a convertible.

You guys need to chill.

He asked why I thought that was a sports car and I explained. I understand you guys love your MSP, I loved mine too, but for me performance is the goal, and for the money the MSP fails to deliver.

Like it or not, I'm right.

The 240 is being built right now. Yes it has full suspension, brakes, etc. etc. etc.

Everything will basically be done. Only thing I may do is swap to a Sylvia front end.

Oh, and there's no such thing as too much horsepower.

Honestly, I would forget that idea unless you come across a wrecked MS3... the seats new supposedly are in the $1500 range as they have an airbag system built in...

Hopefully the junk yards don't catch onto that fact....

/dickface. that was completely un-provoked.
oh yea...and you want real horsepower, but you're still buying a goddamn import. cool life. V8 -- there's some vehicle dynamics for ya. throw that in your 240 and you'll be bitchin' fast. they fit.

so on the other hand...think the seats will swap?
