who all has stepped up and done the ATP 3071r or 3076r kit?

please send me a PM if you have. I've got a few quick questions. Thanks!

Im on the fence with the order until the tuning solution is solved. I plan to test the strength of these rods but with a proper tune. Im just concerned with the fuel systems duty cycle.

(iagree)

and finding aftermarket components for a Direct Injection engine isn't going to be all that easy...

Well if the injectors become an issue, RC Performance will be able to help us. We need a good tuning solution to start this.

I do believe from what ive read that the high pressure pump that runs off the engine is the culprit. CP-E has said a few things about it being limited to 317 or so hp. They have said they are investigating it. Well see what comes of it.

i've seen that, but then again i dont understand how ATP could dyno their 3071r kit on a ms6 at 360whp??????

i've got good connections there... i'm going for it.

Sounds like a great idea. Try it out and tell us how it works, many of us are eager to see how it goes. Props for being gutsy enough to go for it.

Keep me posted on your progress. I'm interested as well to see the right setup..

cp-e just released info that the stock fuel system maxes out at 310-315whp.
if atp had higher numbers it must have had very unsafe a/f numbers !!
cp-e said they will not even release their "big turbo" until they find a better high pressure pump, because that is the weak link in the system. the in tank pump and injectors can hold a lot more. until that is addressed you wont get anymaore power than you would with a well modded stock turbo car.

i would think so... somewhere inline with where the cams would rotate inside the valve cover.

i dont know though.

Makes two of us. Im going to go look for it this weekend. I think im going to need an MS3 service manual and i didnt find any on ebay. I want to know how to de-pressurize this 1500-1600 psi system when it comes to replacing these parts.

if you look at their dyno chart they're running an a/f of 10.5:1 = very safe.

bell engineering was only able to push out like 290hp at 17psi with the xede tuned to a 12:1 a/f . a couple more psi is not going to put out 360... i call BS !

But how much more cfm can a gt3071R push compared to our measly K04, plus a couple more psi, i don't see why not except for the fact that the fuel system supposedly won't push it.

not supposedly .....it wont.
cp-e put a big turbo on and tuned it and could not break 315hp. the fuel system just cant do it.

Strange that the stock fuel system was not over engineered like on just about every other Hipo car out there.

So whats CPE stand on the deal? Have they figured out the fuel system yet or have larger pumps coming out? Were going to need it.
