CEL: System running too lean

Before I went in to the dealer today to get some warranty stuff done, I decided to reset just my CEL codes (with my scanner). I first checked to make sure the typical two were the only 2. However, I had three. In addition to having no cats, and not EGR, I got a "System running too lean" code. I have an WB02, and i admit, there have been INSTANCES past few weeks with things i've tried that its run lean under VERY LOW boost. So on the way home from the dealer, my CEL goes on, no suprise. I check the codes when i get home. The EGR is already a trouble code, my cats, and SYSTEM TOO LEAN, are pending. WTF?! Under boost and normal driving conditions I haven't been running lean if at ALL. I'm running 11.5-12AFRs under boost and 14.5-15.5 under normal driving.

I'm confused. Anyone have this CEL even if they know they are getting enough fuel?

Have you been in open loop when you got these codes??? If not, then maybe that's why they are coming in. Under low boost/load situations, you could still be in closed loop.

I'm not sure.... more than likely... the turbo module sometimes doesnt kick in but my boost gauge reads 14, and my AFR is 14... i have since fixed that.

remember, im at under 4psi, so nothing TOO bad could have happened.

I'm thinking that since I'm not running excessively rich anymore (10-11AFRs) that this comes on? IE- i am at about 11.5-12AFRs under full boost (4psi)

12's will not cause it to throw a lean code. You must have a lean spot somewhere for the ECU to throw that code. Make a few runs with varying loads and throttle positions and log them. If you get the CEl after those runs, look back into them and see which one hit the leanest spot and go richen it up a bit there.
