First time using the soft rack to bring a set of old ladders on a 150-mile trip. The front of the ladder was tethered to one of the side mirrors, I recall vaguely. What a treacherous drive! I could see the front of the ladder moving up and down. I stopped mid-trip to tighten everything. For the last 1/3 of the trip, I just stayed behind a semi.
