2007 Mazda2 (Demio) Engine replacement questions...Help!

Hi, hope I get some help here.
My mazda demio (mazda 2) 2007 engine is completely dead and I want to replace it. Its code is ZJ-VE (1.3cc) and I just got a ZY (1.4cc)
Is it going to work? Is my ecu going to support that ZY engine though it was made for ZV?
N.B : I live in a area where mazda 2 spare parts are so rare and that ZY engine is the best I could get and it coming without its complete wiring and ECU, so I have to install it with my ZV ECU and wiring (they look the same).

Your problem is almost like mine and I wish someone will reply,
My Mazda is a DY3(Mazda 2) and has a zj 20 engine , it recently died & I changed to a zj engine of which I got a complete zj21 , now I didn't change my old ECU because of the wiring ,so I just used the old ECU ,the engine is very okay but the car jerks and switches off on its own,I tried the new ECU and my car stopped jerking unfortunately the dashboard reads very differently ,speedometer reads 180km on Parking mode ,RPM reads 4 without acceleration ,while on D,R,S,L mode the vehicle reads Parking on the dashboard, the steering wheel becomes stiff too with the steering light on,, what is your advice ,can the new ECU be configured to work with this engine or what should I do.
