Wanted to be the first, but you beat me to it. I've wanted these wheels ever since the msm was available. $1000, thats kinda steep

1000 is just about right... they cost nearly $500 a wheel from a stealership.
I got mine for $900 with 5k miles on them.

They'll look nice as hell on your car.

Link doesn't work. I found two of them on ebay for 300 each, but thats just two. Yeah, they would look good. But, I want to paint or powercoat them in gunmetal or black before they go on the car.

I miss the dark look of red/black combo from my last set of wheels...

post pics asap whenever you get ahold of the wheels/powder coat em.

wow, this is going to cost me over $1K with tires. With that money i can buy some high end aftermarket brand rims. guess, i'll wait it out since the msm is still really new and owners aren't selling the wheels, and if i end up keeping my protege.

I might be purchasing new rims for my MSM in a couple months. I will look you up when I do.

Unfortunately 2 of them are curbed (happened in the first month I had the car...not used to the smaller turning radius and misjudged)...but if you're getting them powdercoated it should be easy to fix them up.

Because of some of the curb damage...I would definitely sell them for under $1000 (+ shipping) for the set and whatever tire tread is left (9,000 miles right now, probably would have 12,000 miles when I sell)..how much were you looking to spend?

Maybe we can work something out. I too love the MSM rims but they just don't look 'right' to me on the MSM...on the Protege it looks hot though!!
