My Halfords 12 volt tyre inflator keeps blowing the in-line fuse in its plug when I switch it off after use, probably because it isn't rated high enough. Obviously the fuse needs to be lower than the fuse in the cigar lighter accessory circuit of my 2014 CX5 (the socket below the dashboard). So what is the accessory circuit of the car rated at?
I suspect it's 10A, in which case I'll want a 7.5amp fuse in the inflator, say. But I'd like it confirmed, please!
