Yes, it is very possible.

My biased answer will be the Flyin Miata / BEGI kit :). Unbiased I would still reccomend it based on the extensive testing and continued tweaking of this kit.

No. The kit is complete with all piping, intercooler, boost gauge, turbo, oil lines, etc.

Are you a skilled or semi skilled mechanic? The directions are very good, but this is not a one hour job. I would estimate between 8 to 12 hours of work if done on your own. A shop charges between 500 to 800 dollars labor as a ballpark figure.

Incredible. Just go to the Forced Induction forum and read some 'kill' stories. Or check FMProtege.com for dyno results and impressions. At six pounds of boost, there is an increase of about 70 horsepower. You will notice this!

Touchy subject. There are those who prefer doing an "NA" route with high compression pistons, camshafts, rods, rings, reinforced internals, etc etc - but in all honesty the power / cost ratio is better with a turbo. You get more "boost for the buck" going turbo. You also don't have to tear the engine down like you would with the so called "NA route". I don't think I need to stress the superiority of turbo over NOS either - there are enough horror stories on this forum about the dangers of NOS to convince you of that.

Good luck!!!

Boost is definetly the best way to go in terms of affordable power. And there should be no problem turboing an auto.

Each kit has its pros and cons. I suggest you do your research and talk to all of the manufactures of each kit ect. Also try to decide whats important to you and what features you think are important and you would like to have in your kit ect (how much hp do you ultimatly want to make?).

I am not familiar with tripoint regarding there customer service ect but I can assure you that both FM and SPOOL have great customer support and are on these forums frequently.

How great is the out come?
When your car pulls in 3rd gear like its 1st gear you will understand;)
