Stalling in neutral

Everytime I push in the clutch or put my car in neutral it wants to stall. It only actually stalled once while I was driving to school butit seemed to always want to. The rpm's would always drop to or below 500. Anyone else have this problem? Is it just because it is running rich?

One of the cooling fans blow hot air right on the air Intake. I would imagine that is a major factor in that particular problem among other issues I am sure. Mine does it every now and then. Not very often though.

Take that car back to the dealer man. If you got a CEL and it keeps wanting to die out in neutral, something is wrong man.

I took it to the dealer today. They said the code came bacl as the engine was running rich so they're keeping it and calling Mazdaspeed and there gonna try to fix it.

Oy,

Beware of a dealership that has to call Mazda to figure out how to correct that problem.

As they say in Holy Grail, "Run away! Run away!"

actually that is normal. I am glad that they do call them. That way it helps mazdaUSA stay in tune to the problems that their cars are having on a mass scale. "the squeekiest wheel is always the first to be oiled!"

It probably felt like a pig when you drove it right?

I broke the plastic fitting that connects the bypass valve to the upper I/C pipe and I set a running too ritch code, I knew what it was and reset it myself when I worked with MAZDA. I bet $10 you just had a boost leak and the dealership just doesn't want to fool with it.

P.S. that section of pipe took 2 months to get on my car cause it was on intergalatic backorder.
