please take a look, hanging wire (sensor)

about a month ago i hit a rock, and cracked my oil pan. i got a new oil pan from onlinemazdaparts dot com, they were awesome BTW (first).

i installed the new oil pan, and while i was laying under my car noticed a hanging wire in front of the A/C evaporator. it looks like a sensor.

does anyone know what this is/what its supposed to plug into?? i would greatly appreciate any help or info

went and saw it! it connects to like a plug nothing else!

so it just has a plug to cap off the end of it, and doesn't connect to anything?!

well then i guess thats not so bad lol, i can't believe it wasn't tied up or anything though. it was just dangling there, i could swing it back and forth. so i zip tied it like that pic in my first post shows it.
