Part question??

Ok took my car to get it cleaned out at a local cleaning place. They do a good job if you dont have the time, which I've been short on lately with moving.

Anyways I went to pick it up when the manager came out and told me they damage the car. At first I was pissed and extremely scared, thinking the worst.

But apparntly what happen was the vacumm end was little "rough" and it stratched the plastic that sits around the shifter (sport-auto).

So now I have about 5-8 little deep stratches around the shifter. He said they would replace, just bring in a invoice or estimate from Mazda on the cost.

So anyone know what that little plate would cost or what the part number is?

Bleh I really should go buy a shop manual sometime.

Yep I was more shocked than pissed that they actually told me out right. And the guy who vacummed it also said he was sorry about it.

Helped to cool my temper down.

Just walked in and right away they said something happen, no beating around the bush or anything.
