Lights warrantied?
Just curious... if a bulb is burnt out, is that covered under warrantty? or is that just regular maintenance?....... anyone else have the little green light go out (steering column?)

if the light just burnt out.....its considered wear and tear...and no its not covered...

however....

if the light went out due to some fault....bad wiring or something like that.....then it should be.

It wouldn't hurt to ask.

Saturn coverd LEDs and bulbs on my Saturn for the life of the warranty. I went in for an oil change once and they replaced two non-functional LEDs in the HMTL free and without asking. Although, other than a sealed beam headlight burning out at 6 years, not a single bulb ever failed in the 10 plus years and 134,000 miles that I owned the car. Check the warranty wording in your owner's package to see if bulbs are "wear & tear". I'm too lazy to walk out the garage right now and do it. Jim

in canada we got bumper to bumper warranties

i had one of the side marker lights go out and it was replaced with no hassel.

the sales guy even said to me "if a light goes out in the next 3 years it's covered."
