I got these Thermal Spacer from Jayracing.com and I just got them installed lately in my P5 they both fit perfectly Intake Manifold & Throttle Body and no leak to be found on both Spacers. To see if they do really work?

Before installing the Thermal Block I took the temperature using a digital multimeter after 15mins on idle of the IM, it was around 31+ Degrees Celsius (88+ F/C) and the TB 27+ Degrees Celsius (81+ F/C) TB was a bit cooler due to “coolant bypass mod”.

After installing the thermal block and run the vehicle 15mins on idle and took the temperature again of the IM, reading was 26+ degrees Celsius (79+ F/C) and the TB 21+ degrees Celsius (70+ F/C). Result 5- degrees Celsius cooler after installing these thermal block spacers. I guess they do work!!!!

Took the vehicle for a 20mins drive on the motorway (freeway) doing 110kph (62mph) legal speed, the car feels faster and smoother. Without any gear shifting I took my speed to 160kph (99mph) it felt effortlessness getting to that 160kph mark and held my speed there for about 1min, the car still wants to push even faster.

Went back home feeling lucky no cops on the motorway LOL!

After doing a quick run on the motorway (freeway) took the temperature again of the IM & TB it only gain 2+ degrees Celsius hotter from previous reading which was IM 26+ deg/Celsius (79+ F/C) & TB 21+ deg/Celsius (70+ F/C) on idle.

Over all I’m pretty stoked with the outcome of the performance after having these thermal block spacers installed, not bad at all for a minor mod and the car feels happy as clam and so am I.

Hahahaha yeah bro you can measure heat by using multimeter, you just need to connect a thermocouple... I learned that off a mate who's a electrician
and beats me buying a new Digital Pyrometer just to find whether if those Thermal Spacers do work or not LOL!!!... But yeah those Thermal Spacers do
work actually man should try them out.

I had them on my MX-6 from Outlaw. It's hard to really measure any gain from them because even if the manifold is 5 degrees cooler, how much does that really affect the air passing through it? At high rpm, those O2 molecules are in there for a faction of a second and air doesn't exactly conduct heat very well.

If it feels better then, that's all that really matter. The MSP is all about fun and if it makes the car more fun, it's worth every penny.
