Headlights Dim when TCS Activates

This winter I've noticed a strange problem. Whenever traction control kicks in, my headlights seem to dim momentarily. I didn't notice last year, but it's hard to say because it's not that common to have traction control kick in, and having it night time in a dark enough place for me to notice. Any ideas? No other symptoms of electrical issues at all with the car. I do have an aftermarket HID kit installed, running off a relay harness, but no other electrical mods.
