Good long-lasting tire for Mazda5 GT?

We have 30k on our TOYO Proxes A18 205/50R17 (20K on snows I use in the winter) and they are quite warn and noisy. What should I replace them with that will last a bit longer? I'm underwhelmed by these so I will not replace them with the sam tires. My need for snow capabilities is 0 so I can handle more of a summer tire, or at least one that's not so good in the snow. Thanks.

I'm running Yokohama Yk580's and have been very happy with them. They aren't quite as good as the Michelin's I had on before, but for the money they are tough to beat.

I have had Goodyear Assurance CT Touring (25k), Michelin Premier AS(30k), and the Toyos (18k) that came on my 2008 GT. The Toyos were the worst by far, bad in Rain/Snow and loud. They drove great on dry, but that was about it. The Goodyear and Michelins were decent for road noise and good on Rain/Snow. I am on my second set of Continental ExtremeContact DWS (205/50R17 93W XL) and got just over 43K on those. Loved them so much, when they needed replacing I got them again. They cost around $140-$160/tire.

I'm glad that you had a good experience with Continental DWS - I have them on our Mazda 5 too - but only 10k miles, but they seem to be wearing well. Discount Tire seems to have pretty good prices on these tires and the have occasional sales that give you ~$100 off 4 tires. I think my price for 4 tires was <$500 (I didn't get the hazard warrantee) I have 215/50r17 - slightly wider and taller. For some reason, sometimes a larger tire is cheaper - must be be demand/availability. I'd vote for the DWS too - just make sure you get a good set. The first set I got had to be replaced - they vibrated a lot. The next set was good. The other tire I had considered was the Michelin MXV4 - but they were more expensive, but have a longer treadwear warranty.

The stock bridgestone turanzas lasted 53k on my lowered cambered car, replaced them with bridgestone ecopias which are wearing well with 33k on them.

I've had two sets of Cooper RS-3A now and they aren't bad. Decent price and good tire for the 5 it seems. Discount Tire will carry them, but you mostly have to go through a Cooper dealer. Got the first set from a dealer, got the current set through Discount Tire on Ebay.

This thing eats tires no matter what you throw on it, though I do like to Zoom Zoom a bit with it. Pittsburgh roads do beat up tires though.

Just put a set of these on my wife's Sonic. Great price. Ride pretty good and handle reasonably well but damn they are noisy.

+1 on the DWS and the YK580. Had them both and they held up well.

I just had a set of the Yokohama YK580's put on my wife's 2012 Mazda5 Sport. All too happy to have the Toyos off after 32k.

Decent price and mileage rating, plus a $60 rebate through August.

I have 59K on Michelin MXV4 Primacy 215/50 r17 and have loved them. I hope to get another set before they run out.
