Hello everyone, it has been awhile... i hope some of you are still lurking around! Life's been insanely busy. Anyway, i finally get to get new wheels, i am forced to actually, bent all 4 wheels on LA potholes. woopy doo.
I settled on 18x8 wheels @ +35 offset. I'm about to buy the tires, but was curious how meaty a setup i could get away with. I talked with bmorrisj quite a bit and he has the same wheel setups, is about an inch lower than me, and says he can only fit 235/40 with rears rolled.
My question, i am only roughly 1" dropped, rear fenders rolled. I REALLY want 45 sidewall to help protect from those damn potholes. Think i could get away with 235/45? Or would i have to stretch on 225/45? I'd love to know if anyone has a similar setup and can give me a positive yes/no, or if they know for fact it will rub fronts or still in back.
