Choice of taillights

I need some opinions regarding the appearance of my 2002 Protege. I'm not sure which taillights will look best on my car. The thing is that it's very hard to get an idea of what each light will actually look like just by visualizing them. I really prefer the look of the smoked taillights I've seen in pictures. In particular, the Altezza G1 and Option Racing styles. But my car is silver in color. So, could it be too bland if all the colors are in similar tone of each other? I'm probably getting gunmetal color rims soon, too. So I'm wondering whether clear/bright-colored lenses, or even black lenses would be more attractive for my color scheme than smoked ones? They might offer more visual "pop". I am finding it hard to part from my original preference for the smoked lenses, but am now leaning a bit more towards the other styles. Please let me know what color/style taillights you have selected for your own car. Also, please leave me your opinion for how I should pimp my own up. If you would also be so kind, would you please post some of your own pictures? Thanks!

Imo...the only option these cars have are the JDM tail lights, like above...NOTHING else comes close...technically, i think some countries in Europe/UK had very similar tail lights (different fog light or something)...but they're mostly the same, and also an option.

I'm not sure if you ever actually stood next to a car with aftermarket tail lights...but in my experience they're usually 100% shat quality wise.
