99 protege sedan straight pipe??

You can straight pipe anything. The question is why? It's unbeably loud and as raspy as a Honda

I have a 99 and ran straight pipe it also depends on the muffler you use. I used a APEXi muffler yes it was extremely loud but it didnt sound like a honda. It sounded pretty good actually but just real loud. I got me a deal on a Corksport catback so im going that route with a silencer. It was fun to make alot of noise when i was younger but i dont want to attract alot of attention anymore. Plus my neighbor is a b**** and will use anything to complain about me to the HOA.

Us it's fun at first but them it sucks. Especially when you gotta drive an hour. My Honda had a resonator and muffler I would hate to deal with no muffler or res.

Yeah it was fun especially going into tunnels or under bridges I would drop a gear and floor it. Oh the good ole days. But im a lot older and im going more for style not attention which is why the new exhaust w/silencer. Ill pull it off and make a little noise everynow and then but itll probably stay on for the most of the time.

So yes you can run a straight pipe like tweet said but unless you want a lot of attention I dont recommend it but the choice is yours though. You can always try it and see for your self and if you dont like it then slap the restrictions back on and call it a day.
