Hi I just recently bought a Mazda 3. The windshield wipers aren't working. The rear wipers work fine. Also the wiper fluid doesn't work either. I have checked all fuses, they're all fine. plz help

I am having some serious issues getting my wiper blades off! I can unlock the U shaped lock, but they still won't come off. Has anyone else had difficulty with this? The first time I replaced them it was easy, I am not sure why I can't get this set off. HELP!!!
