screen clean fingerprints

Hi, what's the best way to clean the multimedia/Satnav touch screen? It picks up lots of fingerprints. Now I know why the BMW-style rotary dial makes sense! microfiber glasses cleaning cloth? should I stay away from using water and household window cleaning solutions? Thanks!
