plasti dip

Hey, everyone. I just bought my first Mazda. It's a 2012 CX-9 GT. Before I bought it, I was having a hard time finding a good picture of one with blacked out grill and wheels. I had a little fun with plasti dip this week, so I figured I would share with the group. I like how it turned out.

I've searched forum after forum, and pic after pic to see if anybody else has dipped their mazda wheels a cool white on white... results: none. tell me what yall think. wheels are dipped white, and the front emblem dipped black.

How much did you use in oz roughly? and how many coats did it come out to?

I'm a sucker for a white vehicle with a black roof (often associated with a panoramic sunroof), and I'm eager to have my wife's new CX-5 roof wrapped with a gloss black vinyl. Although I don't expect the cost to be too much, I'd like to see if any of the 247 crowd has had their roof vinyl...
