For anyone looking for a non OEM cargo cover, I just got this one. It's the closest you'll get to the OEM without paying the OEM price. I'm happy with it. The difference between this one and the others is that much like the OEM one, this has the flaps in the front to hide the space between the...
Are there such a thing OEM 2nd row back of seat protectors? I installed OEM all-season cargo space protectors but I realized that if I fold down the 2nd row for max cargo space that the backs will not be protected.
I bought my Mazda CX5 2017 four months ago and last night I noticed that the cargo light is not working (working fine about 2 weeks ago). Is it possible that the bulb is burned out after only 4 months?
My assumption is that something rolled around the trunk and hit light cover really hard or...
Hi all,
I've seen a few threads here about the CX-9 crossbars and roof racks, but I'm still unsure if the OEM crossbar (0000-8L-N02B) can support a Thule-type rooftop cargo carrier. My CX-9 GT came with the roof rails already installed but no crossbars. I'll need the cargo carrier for a...
Hello all
I'm a forum newbie who is looking to lease a 2017 CX-9 in the grand touring trim. I live in NYC with 2 kids (age 6 and 8) and a chocolate lab (about 77 pounds). For us the car will NOT be daily driver b/c our work commuting is done via subway. We use the car on weekends, either...
Hello, I traded in my Audi for a 2015 CX-5 GT and am planning to get a pet barrier for the cargo area so my dog Max can have his own space. No more drooling all over the dash board! :) I've done the research, including this site and this one seems to be the best design, made in the UK...
One of the few things that I don't like about my CX-9 is the lack of a cover for the cargo area. Everything that won't fit in the bin under the rear floor panel or under a seat is exposed for anyone to see!
Mazda has a Cargo Cover as an Accessory, but it is NOT for models with the Power...
Hi everyone,
New to this so here goes.
The lighting in the cargo area is poor at best. The little "switch on" light is the same as I had in my 1989 323!!!.
I'd like to install a LED strip, either on the Inside of the liftgate or the Inside of the roof (more probable). Here is my question...
I changed all my interior and license plate bulbs to CorkSports' LED ones several months ago.
Recently I noticed is that the cargo lamp stays on all the time, regardless the hatch position. When I put the OEM regular bulb back, it does not work at all.
So I used my multimeter and here are what...
Hello
Does anyone here have a dog which is loaded into the rear (not back seat but cargo area) of your vehicle? We have a small retriever and think he is smart enough/ big enough to jump into the back (cargo space), but I have a feeling he will scratch the crap out of either the bumper, or the...
I thought this might help prospective buyers. These (approximate) dimensions were taken with the rear seats folded down and the rear headrests still attached.
Length (just under rear window to driver's seat back): 5 ft, 6 in
Width (wheel well to wheel well): 3 ft, 8 in
Height (trunk floor to...

I have an 06'. As many of you 5'ers know, the cargo area lighting is down right whimpy, pathetic, crappy.... yadda yadda yadda.(dark)
Here's the solution. As I told another member here; I wanted useful light, not going for the bling thing. I also wanted it to be as inconspicuous as possible...
The P5 cargo net is no longer available from Mazda. There are some aftermarket nets out there but I have a cheaper alternative. A motorcycle cargo net. They usually run about $7 and can be found at any motorcycle dealership or accessory store.
please don't mind the dog hair.
