auxiliary

Hi everyone! I'm looking for some help on replacing the Aux jack that's near the front of the center console. I can't seem to find much information on this (maybe I'm looking in the wrong places). I think it's a shorted out cable, since it works sometimes, but only if you push and hold the aux...

Is anyone aware of an easy way to add an auxiliary input to a 2007 mazda cx 7 with the navigation unit? I really don't want to buy a new head unit for $400+ or use an FM transmitter. Any input is much appreciated!
